Country music awards? Yes… but that’s not what I’m talking about 🙂 CMA is an acronym for “comparative market analysis”. This is one of my favorite parts of this profession because it’s how I help people determine the value of their home. Curious how it works? Here you go:
- I gather important information on your home such as location, lot size, square footage, year built, bedrooms, bathrooms, parking features, exterior finishes, interior finishes, etc.
- I use my resources to find homes similar to yours that have recently sold in your area.
- Since no two homes are the same, I make adjustments as needed.
- I use information such as sold price per square foot and days on the market to determine a current competitive price range for your home.
At no cost– I develop CMA’s before listing appointments, annually for past clients, and for anyone who reaches out to me directly. When it comes to knowing the value of one of your biggest investments- don’t rely on friends, family, or “zestimates”… call a pro!
